About

Offered in partnership with Indian Center Inc. and Southeast Community College, it provides goal-focused instruction, progress tracking, and both in-person and online learning options. Classes cover GED test preparation, foundational skills in math, reading, and writing, as well as workforce education and training recognized by employers and service providers.

FAQ

How much do classes cost?

All materials and instruction are provided at no cost to students. This program is grand-funded through the Nebraska Department of Education’s Adult Education.

How long will it take me to meet my goals?

We will measure your progress each time you complete a minimum of 40 hours of study, depending on your current skill level. This will help you and your instructor plan your lessons.

How do you measure my skills?

CASAS®, a nationally recognized measure of Reading, Math, and English listening skills test, will be provided to you free of charge when you enroll and will be repeated every time you complete required hours of class.

I already have a high school diploma. Can I still enroll in classes?

Yes. If you qualify, our classes can help you improve your math, reading, and writing skills to get you into college, get a job, or move up on your career pathway.

The year has already started. Can I still start?

Yes. Orientation sessions are held throughout the year.
